Why create this check list?
Businesswomen come to me with issues with their WordPress website. Often the issues could be resolved quicker if some of the steps in the check list had been followed.
Could they have been set up when the website was created? Yes, they could. Sometimes it's a case of you don't know what you don't know if you created the website yourself.
Are the steps simple to follow?
I've tried to keep them simple.
The first step is taking a backup of your website. This is ALWAYS the first step before changing ANY THING on your website.
Seriously, a backup of your website makes everything easier IF something stuffs up. If everything goes smoothly then you don't need it.
If you do need it, then it's simple to do a restore to get everything back to where it was and you can breathe easily again.
