What is Peppertype.ai? It’s an online, instant way to generate content using Artificial Intelligence. I bought a Lifetime Deal subscription which means that I have paid a one-off fee for usage.
The blog content types that are available are:
Blog ideas
Blog introduction
Blog outline
Blog conclusion
Blog header expansion - in beta (not included in this review)
SEO Meta descriptions (not included in this review)
Blog ideas
I’ve been using it mainly for blog ideas and creating the actual content myself. However, this time I thought what happens if I try to generate an entire blog post using it?
Initially, I took one of its blog ideas which was “Top 5 Plugins Every WordPress User Should Have”
Peppertype.ai can create many different types of content. It’s not going to do it all for you. It’s not as though I can start writing about rocket science.
This is an aside. I decided to generate some blog ideas for my business with rocket science for beginners. The first blog idea was really the only one referring to rocket science. This wasn’t a surprise since I really didn’t enter much information to work on.
To generate the blog ideas: select blog ideas from all the content types, which is a growing list.
I enter the product/brand and then up to 180 characters in the description. When you click on create blog ideas, a list of ideas is generated.
Note: you may not always want to enter your brand since this may change the results received.
You can save the ideas to look at them later, or you can ignore them.
I like using Peppertype.ai for blog ideas. However, there are other ways to get blog ideas such as entering a topic on Answer the Public, searching through Quora, checking questions in Google or even asking your ideal clients what they want to know about.
Blog ideas: Good
Blog introduction
I decided to generate a blog introduction using the topic “Top 5 Plugins Every WordPress User Should Have”.
On this occasion, I decided to run any content through the Grammarly Plagiarism checker. Since I have the free version of Grammarly it would tell me if plagiarism was present but not which parts were plagiarised.
I think that the issue is that it’s a common blog topic. I have written something similar before although Peppertype.ai wouldn’t know that. When I put the introduction through Grammarly it was flagged as significant plagiarism. It also stated that there were grammatical errors.
Peppertype.ai states in the Frequently Asked Questions that the content is original, based on your input criteria. Since it was a common topic that could be why it was flagged as plagiarism.
After that, I decided that rather than create a blog post from Peppertype.ai I would create a review and still use some of their suggestions.
Intro from Peppertype.ai about itself
What happens when you ask an artificial intelligence bot to create content for your blog?
This is what I found out: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
The Good
Peppertype.ai creates content that is grammatical. I know, I know. It's shocking!
The Bad
Pretty much everything else.
The Ugly
The fact that it uses the same words and phrases all the time.
Read on to find out more about what went wrong…..
I’ll let you judge the above introduction.
Blog introduction: good / bad. I think that this does depend on what you put in. Grammarly stated it was ungrammatical. Google also wants to put in an “an” in-between ask and artificial. I use Grammarly to check all my posts and web pages.
Blog Outline
From Peppertype.ai
1. What is Peppertype.ai?
2. The good, the bad and the ungrammatical
3. How Peppertype.ai is the AI copywriter that meets you where you are.
4. Peppertype.ai in action.
I think that’s a pretty good outline. I’m not following it with this post but that doesn't mean that it’s wrong.
Section 3 is interesting because I wouldn’t have thought of that topic. I think it’s true because it does depend on the content you enter. If I were a rocket scientist and had entered relevant information I’m sure that I would have received better results.
There were quite a few blog outlines and if you were stuck for a structure that would have worked.
There is a content type called AIDA which stands for Attention Interest Desire Action. The results from there could also be used for a blog outline.
From Peppertype.ai - blog outlines for rocket science
1. What is Rocket Science?
2. The Rocket Science field of engineering
3. Is Rocket science hard?
4. Is Rocket Science really hard?
Conclusion: Rocket Science is Rocket Science, it's a challenging field where we launch objects into space and space exploration,
someone had to figure that out first.
I had to share the above since it proves that I know nothing about rocket science which is reflected in the outline.
Blog outline: Good.
Blog conclusion
There is a conclusion at the end of each blog outline and there is also a content type called blog conclusion.

We would love to hear your comments - leave a comment in the section below about the best and worst blog posts,
and what kind of topics you would like to see covered in future posts. Thank you for reading!
To generate the conclusion, you can enter a call to action under the advanced options. I entered a note about joining my Facebook community group which was included.
Peppertype.ai generated two conclusions. In Grammarly, the first one had significant plagiarism. This one shown does not have plagiarism. Any improperly spaced punctuation would be corrected when I added the link to my Facebook group.
If you have comments allowed on your blog, I like the bit about what topics you would like to see covered. However, the part about the best and worst blog posts is a little confusing.
My conclusion
As the saying goes you only get out what you put in. The results of the generated content show that case really well since I’m not a rocket scientist.
It’s certainly not at the stage where you could write an entire blog post from the generated content. I’m not sure that you would want to. Even if the content was always grammatically correct, using generated content wouldn’t sound like you. Your followers read your content because it’s your voice, your way of writing, your vibe. With AI-generated content that would be missing.
Generating blog ideas can work. If you click on create more blog ideas button you will receive more ideas if you want more ideas.
I will continue to use it for blog ideas and even blog outlines. I won’t be using it to create everything for me. I think that copywriters can still sleep at night.
I will still use Grammarly. I use it to check my own writing, so I’d certainly use it to check anything AI-generated.
I’ll use the conclusion that Peppertype.ai generated.
